The O'Hara Literacy Contest was named for Eliza O'Hara. Eliza, a school teacher at the Big Chute school, died in 2005. Her memory lives on in this contest that encourages children to write about their cottage experiences.
We are looking for our young creative writers. Send us in a story, poem or other creative writing. Entries will be published in our yearly magazine. Cash prizes will also be awarded.
