The GPCA is a strong cottage organization that has a Community Hall which is only accessed by water. The Hall was built and renovated by volunteers and is maintained by volunteers.

1. Our events are centered on this Community Hall.  
2. Our primary focus is providing events for the members

• The Regatta (now Regatta/Family Fun Day) and the Kids Fishing Derby have a long history.
• Canoe for Cancer attracts participants from across the province.
• This year Canada Day Boat Parade, Fishing Derby, a Book Club, Progressive Euchre, Art on the Dock, Annual Members Meeting and Canoe for Cancer will be using the Hall. 

The property does not front on a road and must be accessed from the water. 

We need to have safe, usable docks!  The current docks are nearing end of life.

To date we have raised a total of $39000 of our initial $60,000 goal which is 65% of the goal.

We have 97 members who have donated $24,446 (average of $252/donor) either through our website, by etransfer or by cheque.

• 77 Bronze ($100-499),
• 5 Silver ($500-999)
• 5 Gold ($1000-2499) level donors.
• 2 Platinum (over $2500)

There will be a Donor Wall at the clubhouse to recognize the generous donations of every member.

If you donate $100, you will receive 15 extra members draw tickets. For $250 you will receive 2 mugs and 15 extra members draw tickets. This will apply to the members draw in 2025.

The children love the fishing derby. Many have shared that “It is the highlight of their summer”, especially the ‘Cheetoh Face’ contest. Let’s continue making memories for the children.
