This is a virtual event for all members of the family.
You will create a boat from re-useable materials which will be able to float. No wood is allowed.
There will be competitions for the following:
The base of the boat will be the minimum size of a Bristol board. You can use Bristol board or cardboard.

You may add materials to your boat.
Each boat needs to be named and have a flag. Before floating your boat, take pictures of the boat on land. Count the different types of re-useable materials.
Every boater needs to wear a life jacket before going into the Boat. You may use either your hands or a paddle to propel your boats. You can have up to 3 people in your boat.
Take pictures and and/or videos.
Post your photos on the website. Videos may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Make sure you post your name, the name of the boat, your time and/or the number of strokes you paddled. You decide which categories you would like to enter. You may enter more than one category.
Medals and prizes will be awarded!
The Competition starts on Saturday August 21st at 9:00 am and ends Tuesday, August 24th at 8:00 p.m.
