Float Homes not Vessels Coalition

The Float Homes Not Vessels Coalition is encouraging all residents to lobby their Member of Parliament to raise awareness of the issues regarding float homes so they in turn can exert influence on the Minister of Transport to rescind the vessel designation. The Coalition has prepared a talking points reference resource that can be used to assist in initiating and leading the conversation.

The link to the reference letter has been provided for distribution to members. We encourage members to share with those outside cottage associations who support the objective to have Transport Canada rescind the vessel designation.
