Biography:  Nilawan Hughes spent every weekend and holidays of her childhood visiting her grandparents.  This instilled a deep love and appreciation for handmade items, especially those made from recycled and reclaimed materials.  She finds joy and satisfaction making useful and beautiful items from reworked and reclaimed pieces.
